Envision a world in which monastic leadership training exists as an alternative to higher education.

The Monastic Academy is an unusual and groundbreaking organization that brings the power of education and business skills together with the wisdom and compassion of a monastery.

It provides deep and rigorous training aimed at classical enlightenment and gives tools to bring that enlightenment forth in programs aimed at the promotion of social and environmental justice and the flourishing of life.

By bringing together authenticity and compassion with real world business skills we aim to transform the economy sufficiently to bring about social and environmental peace on Earth.

To achieve this enormous goal we created the Monastic Academy. This center, the first of its kind, is designed to train leaders capable of making this dream a reality.

And this is just the beginning. We plan on opening many more such centers, each specializing in a specific facet of bringing contemplative practice to life.
